Every year, these two ROTC programs acknowledge the CWU president and university for their outstanding support. In addition, they recognize excellence among their cadet corps by presenting various local and national society awards. CWU President Jerilyn S. McIntyre will officiate and speak at this year's event. The ROTC programs will host a reception immediately following the proceedings. A total of 62 Air Force and Army ROTC cadets will receive awards during the CWU program. For more information about the ceremony, or for persons of disability to arrange for reasonable accommodation, call (509) 963-2314, or (for the hearing impaired) TDD (509) 963-2143. The CWU Air Force ROTC program provides leadership training and experience to cadets in a diversified university environment so they can graduate with the knowledge, character and motivation essential for becoming Air Force second lieutenants. The CWU Army ROTC program allows qualified students to earn a commission as second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard, while attending college full time. |
