ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The annual exhibit featuring works of Central Washington University art students will be unveiled during an opening reception Monday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the CWU Sarah Spurgeon Gallery, located in Randall Hall on the Ellensburg campus.
The exhibition includes ceramics, drawings, graphic arts, metalsmithing (jewelry), painting, photography, sculpture and woodworking. The “Central Washington Art Student Exhibition” will remain on display through May 24.
Professor James Sahlstrand, Spurgeon Gallery director, noted, “We’re very proud of our students and can’t wait to see everything on display.”
The university’s student art council is sponsoring the exhibition.
