CWU Governing Board To Celebrate Holidays With Faculty And Staff

ELLENSBURG, Wash.-- The Central Washington University board of trustees (BOT) is scheduled to mix and mingle with CWU faculty and staff during the president's holiday reception Thursday from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. in Tunstall dining room on the Ellensburg campus.

Following Thursday's holiday celebration, board members are slated for a full day of meetings on Friday, Dec. 5. They will conduct committee meetings during the morning and hold their regular session at 1 p.m. in Barge 412. During its regular meeting the trustees will take action on the CWU naming policy, the endowment-spending budget, services and activities supplemental funding and a host of other policies and resolutions.

Board members will also celebrate several notable accomplishments, such as English professor Dr. Terry Martin being awarded Washington Professor of the Year by CASE/Carnegie.
