CWU GOVERNING BOARD HOLDS SPECIAL TELEPHONIC CONFERENCE CALL TODAY

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Central Washington University’s board of trustees will convene in a special telephonic conference call today (Tuesday, April 9) to discuss student tuition and fee levels for the 2002-03 academic year. The session will begin at 3 p.m. and will be initiated in Barge Hall 304 on the Ellensburg campus. No formal action will be taken at the meeting.

Five of the eight board members will review tuition increases, authorized by the 2002 state legislature, which could range up to 14 percent. Central's governing board will set tuition and fees for the next school year at its June meeting.
