State Supreme Court Justice Speaks at Central

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - State Supreme Court Justice, the Honorable Bobbe J. Bridge, will present "Children in Foster Care: A Community Responsiblity," as part of Central Washington University's Social Sciences Lecture Series Thursday, April 26 at 4 p.m. in the Science Building room 147.

Justice Bridge has served on the Washington Supreme Court since 1999 and has worked on a wide variety of issues affecting Washington courts. She is particularly active in efforts to improve the administration of justice for children and families.

Currently, Justice Bridge co-chairs the State Commission on Children in Foster Care, leading the effort to improve court processes for foster children. Prior to her tenure in Washington Supreme Court, Justice Bridge served as a Judge for King County Superior Court for ten years.
