Gloria Steinem Speaking Engagement at CWU PostponedELLENSBURG, Wash. - Feminist leader Gloria Steinem has rescheduled her speaking engagement at Central Washington University for Thursday, May 4, in the new Student Union and Recreation Center Ballroom at 8 p.m. Steinem had planned to speak at Central Thursday, April 27. Back issues have forced her to postpone. Steinem, one of the most influential women's right advocates of the 1960's and 1970's, will share her experiences during the feminist movement and address issues involving feminism today. The event is free to the public. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. for those with reserved seats. Open seating starts at 7:45 p.m. All of the tickets for this event have been reserved. If you have already picked up your ticket and now cannot attend on May 4, please call Joanne Perez at (509) 963-2187 so we can share your ticket with someone else.
