Check-out the possibilities with the online Safari System.

The Wildcat Information Network (WIN) has been replaced, and will no longer be available. CWU has implemented Safari - S tudent Financials, A dmissions, F inancial Aid, A cademic Progress and R ecords I nformation System. Safari provides self-service web registration, admissions, financial aid, academic progress and student account information. By navigating to the main CWU Web page at www.cwu.edu and selecting the Wildcat Connection, then Safari, students will be able to access their personal student portfolio and learner services to register for classes.

Schedule Books

The quarterly Schedule book is no longer being printed. We have replaced the quarter schedule book with the annual Registration Handbook. The Registration Handbook has important policies that you should review every quarter. It contains, the academic calendar, tuition due dates, final exam schedules, registration policies and procedures, academic advising contacts, and University Center information.

Since you can search and retrieve the most current course offerings on Safari, you should refer to the Registration handbook, to learn how to find your online Schedule of Classes. We have created a quarterly PDF file that is available on the Regi homepage located at http://www.cwu.edu/~regi/course_information.html . Remember, to select the course schedule for the appropriate term. This is also available once you log-in to Safari. However, this is only updated a couple times a quarter, so the most accurate information will be in Safari. Once you get use to navigating Safari, you won't even need this file any longer.

Grade Reports

Grade Reports are no longer being mailed. You can access your grades on Safari by navigating to Home  >  SA Self Service  >  Learner Services  >  Academics > View My Grades . If you need an official grade report for insurance or reimbursement purposes, please contact Registrar Services, and we will mail an official report at the end of the quarter.

Wildcat Connection

ITS has implemented a new Student Intranet site for students. You can get connected to CWU Safari through the Wildcat Connection, just go to the main CWU homepage and click on the Wildcat Connection located on the bottom, center of the page. In addition, you can access your CWU email account and the new Student Intranet Site.

CWU Email Account Activation

Registrar Services, Financial Aid and other student services use the CWU email account to notify students of important notices. Therefore, it is imperative that students check their CWU email account throughout the quarter. For information on activating the student CWU email account go to www.cwu.edu/~its . Then select Novell/GroupWise Account Information > Student Accounts .

Student Intranet

It is important that you read the posting on the student intranet site weekly. You will find there is time critical information regarding registration, financial aid, and student account information. In addition, you will be able to post classified ads, look for housing and roommates, and other great tidbits. Don't forget to read the messages from the President and Student Affairs.
