ACE PREP COURSE OFFERED SPRING 2010
Mark your calendars…University Recreation will once again offer the American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor exam review course, during spring quarter 2010. This course is designed to prepare participants to take either the ACE Personal Trainer or ACE Group Fitness Instructor certification exam. After completing this course, participants will have the necessary information to train or instruct fitness clients in a safe and effective manner by studying anatomy, physiology, program design, lesson planning, risk stratification, health screening, exercise adherence, health limitations, injury prevention, and legal responsibilities. At the end of this course, participants will be eligible to sit for the ACE exam, obtaining accredited certification. Registration will begin during spring quarter.
