ACE Fitness Certification Courses Offered Spring Quarter 2010
Time: 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. • Recreation Center
Cost: $150
Mark your calendars...University Recreation will once again offer the American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor preparatory course during Spring Quarter 2010. The course will run six weeks and meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5 pm.   This course is designed to prepare participants to train or instruct fitness clients in a safe and effective manner by studying anatomy, physiology, program design, lesson planning, risk stratification, health screening, exercise adherence, health limitations, injury prevention, and legal responsibilities. At the end of this course, participants will be eligible to sit for the ACE exam, obtaining accredited certification. Look for more details and registration information in March!
