Family Policy
We’ve updated our policies regarding family use of the Recreation Center! Please note the changes below.
- Children ages 6-13 are allowed to join their parent, who is a member, at no additional cost for activities in the four court gymnasium, on the jogging track, or in the climbing wall.
- The parent must be present and actively involved with the child in the chosen activity.
- Children ages 5 and under are NOT allowed to participate during family hours.
- A member may NOT bring children with them who are not their dependents.
- Regarding the climbing wall, the parent must be involved with their child in the climbing activity. Our staff will be present to supervise, however family hours are not designed to be an instructional time by our staff. Parents wanting to belay their child will need to obtain a belay certification.
- A maximum of 8 children can be in the climbing wall at any given time during Family Hours, with a one hour time limit for each child.
- Guest Passes can be purchased for use during Family Hours, but each adult guest and each child guest must purchase an individual guest pass at the current rate.
- Dependents age 14 and older are eligible to purchase a membership to the Recreation Center but those who are age 14-16 must be supervised by a parent at all times.
