About me:

As an African American female and first-generation college student, the values of equality, multiculturalism, and life-long learning are at the core of my personal and professional identity. I have two children, work hard at social advocacy, and believe every child should understand his or her ethnic culture and heritage.

Through the use of experiential activities, media, technology, music, art, class discussion, group activities, and lecture, I try to create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that is widely engaging to an ever-evolving culture of students.
