Work Experience
Assistant Professor (2008 – Present) Teaching Mechanical Engineering Technology and Industrial Technology classes. Coordinating the Industrial Engineering program at Des Moines.
CWU Facilities Management (2001 – 2008) Worked 2 years as an Engineering Aide for Facilities Planning & Construction Services. Tasks included CAD work, mapping, and surveying.
Worked 4 years as an Information Technology Specialist and then 1 year as the Information Technology group supervisor.
Mechanical Engineer (1992 – 2001) Worked 4 years as a Field Engineer and Design Engineer for a company that designed and built X-Y gantries for High Pressure Waterjet cutting.
Worked 5 years as a metal fabrication shop supervisor.

Conducted research to analyze the impacts of a policy to reduce or eliminate vehicles on the Central Washington University malls for the CWU Site and Development Committee.
