- Brian Hall is researching the effects of stress on mother-infant relationships in Tibetan Macaques. He will be collecting field data through the Joint CWU-Anhui University Biodiversity and Primate Field Research Program in Huangshan, China during the summer of 2009.
- Katie O'Rahilly is conducting research regarding the implementation of non-invasive methods for reducing abnormal behavior in non-human primates. Katie is a volunteer at CHCI.
- John Rinear will be condutcing research involving gibbon conservation in Borneo through the Summer of 2009. He also volunteers time at the Chimpanzee & Human Communication Institute.
- Sydney Self is researching infant-directed aggression in habituated Tibetan macaques, specifically in the context of tourist presence, in Huangshan, China. She will also be collecting field data through the Joint CWU-Anhui University Biodiversity and Primate Field Research Program. Sydney volunteers at CHCI.
- Lindsay Zager is researching enrichment and stereotypical behavior in captive chimpanzees. She volunteers her time at the Chimpanzee & Human Communication Institute where she has access to their extensive collection of videos and behavioral logs of the facility's past and present chimpanzees.
- Terrence Yenter will be researching the ecological and behavioral impacts of ecotourism on Tibetan macaques in Anhui Province, China. He is also pursuing research opportunities involving the effects of ecotourism on Pigtail macaques in Mexico.
