 Crime AlertOctober 2008In compliance with notification provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, the Central Washington University Department of Public Safety and Police Services is issuing the following crime alert: TO THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY RECENTLY THERE HAVE BEEN REPORTED ALTERCATIONS AT OFF CAMPUS GATHERINGS. THE SUBJECTS RESPONSIBLE ARE BELIEVED TO BE NON-CWU STUDENTS IN THEIR LATE TEEN’S TO EARLY TWENTIES. THE INCIDENTS HAVE OCCURED WHERE THE UNINVITED SUBJECTS ARRIVE AND THEN INSTIGATE ASSAULTS. IF UNINVITED PERSONS ARRIVE AT YOUR RESIDENCE, USE CAUTION, AND REMEMBER THAT POLICE ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE BY CALLING 911. PLEASE REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY TO 911.
