| Accept Admission |
Step 1: Navigate to Accept Admission Page
- From the dropdown Main Menu, navigate to Accept Admission by clicking on Self Service > Student Admission > Accept Admission .
- Click here to continue.

Step 2: Accept Admission Page
- If you have already accepted or declined admission, then you will not see the ACCEPT/DECLINE link on the Accept Admission page.
- If there is a link to ACCEPT/DECLINE admission, you may click on the link. Click here for directions.

Step 3: Accept Admission Page (to Accept or Decline Admission)
- The Accept Admission page that displays will provide you with three options:
- To accept admission, click the
button. Click here for further directions.
- To decline admission, click the
button. Click here for further directions.
- To avoid accepting or declining at this time, click the
button. Click here to return to the previous directions.

Step 4: Update Intended Major Page
- On the Update Intended Major page that displays, you have four options:
- To update your academic area of interest that displays in Safari, click on the link to Update Academic Interest. Click here for further directions.
- To browse CWU Majors, click on the link to Browse CWU Majors (Interests). Click here for further directions.
- To save the Academic Interest area you have chosen and confirm your acceptance of Admission, click the
button. Click here for further directions.
- To return to the previous set of directions, click the
button. Click here to return to the previous directions.

Step 5: Academic Interest (Area of Study) Page
- The Area of Study page that displays will provide you with checkboxes indicating Majors/Areas of Study in which you may be interested at CWU. Check the checkbox of your choice.
- If there is a Specialization that accompanies the Major you choose (as in the screen shot to the right), you may need to click the
radio button for the Specialization you desire.
- When finished indicating your intended major, click the
button at the top or bottom of the page. Click here to return to the directions for the Update Intended Major page.

Step 5: CWU Web Page with Links to Learn More About Majors, Minors, etc.
- When the CWU web page displays, refer to the links in the left-hand menu.
- Click on the link for Departments and Programs (Majors, Minors, Certificates). Doing so will take you to another CWU web page, where you may learn more about the Majors, Minors and Certificates available to students at CWU.
- Since the CWU web pages open in new windows, you may close those browser windows when you are finished. Your Safari page should still be open.
- Click here to return to the directions for the Update Intended Major page.

Step 5: Accept Admission Page (to Confirm Acceptance of Admission)
- The Accept Admission page that displays will provide you with two options:
- To confirm that you wish to accept admission, click the
button. Click here for further directions.
- To cancel the process of accepting admission or to return to the Update Intended Major page, click the
button. Click here to return to the directions for that page.

Step 6: Accept Admission Page (to Apply for Federal Student Aid or Pay Admissions Deposit)
- The Accept Admission page that displays will confirm your intent to enroll at CWU.
- The page will also provide a button on which you may click to complete or renew the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you would like to do this at this time, click the
button.
- Doing so will open the FAFSA website. Follow the on-line directions.
- When finished, close the FAFSA browser window. Your Safari window should still be open.
- You will also see a button on this page that you may click to pay the Admissions Deposit fee. If you would like to do this at this time, click the
button.
- Doing so will open the Student Financial Services: Online Payments web page. Follow the instructions provided on the web page to make your payment.
- Please note that the Student Financials... web page does not open in a new window. To return to your Safari page, you will need to use your browser's Back button.

Step 4: Accept Admission Page (to Decline Admission)
- The Accept Admission page that displays will provide you with two options:
- To confirm that you wish to decline admission, click the
button. Click here for further directions.
- To cancel the process of declining admission, click the
button. Click here to return to the previous directions.

Step 5: Decline Admission Page
- The Decline Admission page asks for the name of the school that you do plan to attend. To look up the school, click on the
magnifying glass...
- On the Look Up page, enter the City and State in the appropriate fields.
- Then click the
button.
- Finally, click on the link for the school in the Search Results that display.
- Next use the
dropdown field on the Decline Admission page to indicate the reason for choosing the school you chose rather than CWU.
- When finished entering the information on the Decline Admission page, click the
button.

| Application Status |
Step 1: Navigate to Application Status Page
- From the dropdown Main Menu, navigate to Application Status by clicking on Self Service > Student Admission > Application Status.
- Click here to continue with the directions.

Step 2a: Application Status Page
- The Application Status page provides a table of information regarding your Admissions application including the Term, Program, Application Number and Application Date.
- In addition, the page indicates the Status of this Application, along with an accompanying explanation. The status of the application in the example to the right is Data Change .
- Below the explanation is a statement of your application status.
- If you have one or more outstanding items that are causing your application to be Incomplete, you should click the
button. Click here for the directions for this.
- Finally, you may view all items on your To Do List by clicking on the View All To Do Items link. Click here to access the directions for viewing your To Do List.

Step 2b: Application Status Page (to view an Outstanding Item)
- You will see a table listing the
. Refer to the Description column in the table for information about the action(s) you need to take to resolve the issue of the outstanding item.
- Once you are finished viewing the information about the outstanding item, you may hide this table by clicking the
button.
