Favorites
Introduction Safari has the unique ability to remember the Navigation Path to any pages that you add to your Favorites list. Once items have been added to your Favorites list, you have the option of changing the name of an item, changing the order in which the items appear in the list of Favorites or deleting the item from the list. Favorites - Add to Favorites
Step 1: Navigate to Page From the Menu Box, navigate to the page you would like to add to your Favorites. In the example to the right, the Class Search/Browse Catalog page was selected.
Step 2: Add to Favorites In the Universal Navigation Header at the top of the page, click the Add to Favorites link.
Step 3: Add to Favorites Page In the Description field of the Add to Favorites page, type a name for the page as you would like it to appear in your list of Favorites. Then click the OKbutton. In the example to the right, the suggested name of Class Search/Browse Catalog was kept. For directions on viewing the items in your Favorites, click here. Step 1: Viewing My Favorites List You can add as many pages as you want to your list of Favorites by following the steps described above. To access any of the pages that you have added to your Favorites, click once on My Favorites in the Menu Box. Doing so will reveal the list of your Favorites.
Step 2: Access a Page in My Favorites Clicking once on any item in your list of Favorites will take you to that search page where you may now carry out your search. To return to the directions at the beginning of this document, click here.
Favorites - Edit Favorites
Step 1: Navigate to Edit Favorites To edit a Favorite, click once on My Favorites in the Menu Box. Doing so will reveal the list of your Favorites. Click on the last link under My Favorites - Edit Favorites
Step 2: Edit Favorites Once on the Edit Favorites page: Click here to learn how to change the name of a Favorite. Step 3: Change the Name of a Favorite To change the name of a Favorite, highlight its current name on the Edit Favorites page and type a new one. Remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the Edit Favorites page if you are finished making changes to the page. Click here to return to the Edit Favorites directions.
Step 3: Alter the Order in Which the Favorite Appears in the List To alter the order in which the Favorite, appears in the list under My Favorites, change the Sequence number. Remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the Edit Favorites page if you are finished making changes to the page. Click here to return to the Edit Favorites directions.
Step 3: Delete a Favorite To delete a Favorite, click the Delete button that pertains to it on the Edit Favorites page. Doing so will cause a message to display indicating that "...The delete will occur when the transaction is saved." Simply click the OK button on this message. Remember to click the Save button at the bottom of the Edit Favorites page if you are finished making changes to the page. Click here to return to the Edit Favorites directions.
