Q-14 and P-8 Parking Lots Dispensers Installed and Operating

There has been an additional parking permit dispenser installed at the east end of the Nicholson Pavilion parking lot, Q-14. The parking permit dispenser in the Brooks Library parking lot, P-8, has been replaced and is operating again.

Appealing Citations

You must complete an appeal form for each citation. Multiple citations on one form will not be accepted. The normal response time for an appeal decision is within 10 days. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THIS APPEAL HAS BEEN RECEIVED BY THE PARKING OFFICE.

Ticket Due Date

Parking tickets now have a payment reminder printed on each ticket. This reminder states that the "fine will increase if not paid BEFORE" a certain date. If not paid before the date stated on the ticket the due amount will double with a $5 charge added.

Emails used for Citations and Appeals

All students and staff members who have registered their groupwise or personal email addresses with CWU Parking Services will now receive a notification email for any CWU parking citation they receive. This automatic procedure will help eliminate instances of individuals not receiving notification because they did not receive a citation on their vehicle due to the wind or other circumstances.

Also, Parking Services is using email addresses to forward the parking appeal results for parking tickets that have been appealed. If you would like to register your email address with CWU Parking Services, please email us at parking@cwu.edu or call 509-963-2667.

Please note that Parking Services cannot be held responsible for emails not received for any reason including spam blocking.

New Motorcycle Parking Area

There is now a new motorcyle parking area on Campus. This area is located by the east entrance to the H15 Lot. All motorcycles are welcome to park as long as they have a current CWU motorcycle parking permit and are not parking from 2am to 6am.

Appeal Forms are now available Online

Appeal Forms are now available on the Parking website that you may submit online. You no longer need to come into the office to submit an appeal, just fill out the form as usual and once you submit the appeal we will automatically receive the appeal and start to process. If you have any question feel free to call.

Daily Permit Dispenser Moved

The Permit Dispenser that was located in the W12 lot by Tomlinson Stadium has been moved to the N19 Lot to accommodate the new Music Building. See Campus Map for location of Lot and Music Building.

New Parking Lot Opens
