High School Tutor Information

Omak High School students may register for the GEAR UP Independent Study Course. Those students enrolled in this course will tutor GEAR UP students during class time and have the opportunity to earn college and high school credit simultaneously. This year, students pursuing college credits will not be required to attend additional classes outside of their independent study, but rather will earn class hours during weekly supervision. Fall college credit is offered through Big Bend Community College. Currently, Omak GEAR UP only offers 2 college credits, however we are currently developing curriculum for those students who would like to earn additional credits.
