Student Activities - April & May

New Computer Technology Club

With the help of a new grant, we will be starting a Technology club after school, after Spring Break. This club will be responsible for upgrading and repairing computers and then donating them to qualifying families in our area. Come join the fun.

9th Grade Cohort Event April 17th

A visit from CWU college students helping freshmen understand financial aid, personal statements, college applications and other pertinent information to get into the school of their choice.

EWU Migrant Leadership Camp April 18th

I will be taking seven students in the 9th and 11th grades to Cheney for a leadership opportunity. This is a one day field trip.

Cinco de Mayo Dinner May 2

We will have a wonderful dinner for all students and parents for the Cinco de Mayo celebration. This will be a wonderful fiesta.

Choice or Consequences May 15

This is a presentation on the body and the effects of drugs and alcohol. Two nurses will be bringing actual body parts for the students to look at so they can understand the very real harm that is done when they use drugs or alcohol.

7th Graders to Wenatchee Valley College May 22

We will be taking all the 7th grade students to WVC for a tour of the college and also several presentations of their programs. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get on campus and feel what community college life will be like.
