What do you think your fashion says about you?
The way I dress makes me feel better and that makes [me have] a good day. My sense of style is not “cat-walk,” it [is just what] feels good to me.
What do other people think about your fashion?
I think they notice just that I’m tall with heels. When I dress up I hope people notice, but when I feel as if I haven’t then I hope people don’t notice.
What do other people say about your fashion?
They say I look good and because I’m skinny everything looks good on me.
What is your favorite item of clothing?
Shoes. All my shoes are heels… just heels.
What is your favorite color?
I like whites and reds together. Everyday I wear [at least] one thing that is white. I love running. I have a few articles of spandex that I wear with booty shorts and a cute top that are white with red.
Who is your fashion role model?
My sister [is my role model because] she has a good sense of style. I steal her clothes because she knows where to get good stuff.
Do you ever wear clothes inspired by Africa?
I have some African clothes but [there hasn’t been] the right place [to wear them]. [If I were to wear them] it would be like “look at me!” look at me!” I want to look good and fit in.
Is that easy?
Uh huh. Not everyone dresses up and many people wear track suits to class.
