Adjudications The festival is divided into 14 levels with each level represented by a Sonatina or Sonata selected from the “Sonata-Sonatina Repertoire list”. Students are required to play their pieces from memory at the private auditions. All measures are to be numbered. Pieces are to be performed with no repeats. PHOTOCOPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. A student may enter only one level at this event. There is no age restriction for a student entering any level. The Music Building will open at 7:15 AM. Students should be in the building 15 minutes prior to their scheduled audition. Students’ audition times with their room assignments will be posted on the south wall of the Lobby. The adjudicators will select two winners, who will be unranked until their performance in one of the Honors Recitals. The Winners’ names and the time of their recital will also be posted on the south Lobby wall. The first recital will begin at 12:00 PM. Students must perform on recitals in order for them to receive their trophies. Teachers may pick up their adjudication packets once all of their students have been adjudicated. These packets will be distributed at the Information Desk located in the Lobby. Parents may pick up packets only with written permission from the teacher. *Last updated Sept, 16, 2009
