CWU Guitar Ensemble

Directed and established by James Durkee in 1992, the Central Washington University Guitar Ensemble has performed numerous concerts and received rave reviews. The Guitar Ensemble is dedicated to the performance and development of contemporary and historic guitar works. Currently, the Ensemble boasts nine members. Performances feature a variety of combinations and styles and as one of the largest and most sought after guitar performing groups, a CWU Guitar Ensemble concert is a special opportunity to share a diverse program played by wonderful young artists.
