Central Cello Celebration is a bi-annual event that provides a special opportunity for cellists, in particular high school level players from around the Northwest, to celebrate their work, their accomplishments and the rich cello repertoire.

This year we were pleased to honor a grand dame of music in the Northwest, Frances Walton. As an dedicated educator, gifted conductor and accomplished cellist, Frances Walton has inspired so many cellists, musicians, and diverse audiences. Her love of music is always readily apparent and infectious.

Our guest artist and clinician Walter Gray is a distinguished, long-standing member of the Seattle Symphony, faculty member of Seattle University and highly sought private lesson teacher, who continues to excite audiences with his energetic performances in regional to international stages. After reading his bio you will know what a Renaissance musician he is! We have other exciting guests and faculty that are listed below. More information will be forthcoming.

Join us in celebrating the unique accomplishments of all of these cellists!
