Volunteering and Internships:
The Museum relies on the help of volunteers and interns to process collections and prepare for the move. Volunteers work on cataloging, housing, and researching the collections. If you are interested in volunteering your time, contact Collections Manager Lynn Bethke (bethkel@cwu.edu).

Collections-based internships are currently available for students in CWU’s Museum Studies program. Interested students should contact the Collections Manager and consult with their Museum Studies advisor.

When the museum opens in Fall of 2009, we are going to need even more help! We will be looking for motivated individuals to help us out at the front desk, in educational programs, and as docents. Keep us in mind!

Other Opportunities for Involvement:
The Museum relies on the participation of the local community, as well as the faculty and students of the University. If you are interested in getting involved please contact Museum Interim Director Bill Wood (woodw@cwu.edu).

Community:
Any person or group engaged in activities and/or with interests relevant to the Museum is invited to participate in the Museum’s various programs. Forms of affiliation include but may not be limited to: MAC member, Curator, Consultant, Docent, and Volunteer.

Students:
Beginning in January 2009 all current CWU graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in museum studies classes (or independent study CWU classes) or who are engaged in activities and/or with interests relevant to the Museum are invited to participate. Forms of affiliation include but may not be limited to: Museum Advisory Council Member, Intern, Volunteer, and Work-study Appointment.
