The Multimedia Technology and Instructional Support Media Production unit began in the late 1950's as the Instructional Media Center. The department has evolved through the years to become an award winning state of the art facility, providing knowledgeable customer assistance with the following diversified video production facilities and services:
- Create instructional, promotional, educational and interactive multimedia publications for local and national distribution.
- Operations / Programming: KCWU TV-15, CWU Student Television, CH-14, ESD TV-16
- HD production and post-production facilities
- State-of-the-art television production studio
- Mobile production truck for multi-camera live and tape delayed event coverage
- Compression and encoding services for multimedia publications and web support
- Editing, videography and technical consultation
- Video duplication services
- Student internships and work-study
