Issue 1:  Collegiate “speech codes” which ban the use of racial and gender epithets (faggot, N-word, C-word) which are directed at a specific individual for the purposed of demeaning that individual, violate the free speech clause in the 1st Amendment.

 

Issue 2:  The words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance are a violation of the Establishment clause in the 1st Amendment.

Issue 3: Library internet filters which block all sexually explicit sites are a violation of the 1st Amendment.

 

Issue 4: Sex offender registries are a violation of the 5th Amendment’s ban on “double jeopardy”

 

 

Friday, June 2nd

 

Issue 5: Laws banning incest between consenting adults violate the right to privacy.

 

Issue 6:  Utah’s law mandating executions by firing squad violates the 8th Amendment’s ban on “cruel and unusual punishment.”

 

Issue 7:  Military regulations barring women from combat positions violate the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection clause.

Issue 10: State university college scholarships which are only available to specific minority students violate the 14th Amendments Equal Protection clause.

 

Issue 11:  Barring voluntary prayers at school graduation ceremonies violates the 1st Amendment’s Free Exercise clause.

 

Issue 12:  All white fraternities are protected by the 1st Amendments Association clause.
