Class Overview:  Posc 210 provides a basic introduction to the major institutions and policy-making processes of American government. The class will examine America’s political culture and socialization process, the structure of the US Constitution, federalism, the workings of Congress, the courts, and the presidency. In addition, we will look at the US electoral process and the media.
