Welcome Everyone! My name is Cassie Manring and I am currently a Junior at Central Washington University working on my Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. After pursuing my Bachelor's degree, I plan to get a Masters degree in Education. In my spare time, I like to read books, go boating, hiking, exercise, camping, and work at my dad's gym. My absolute favorite place to be is with friends and family. I have a younger brother who has a son, Joel, who was born in November. He has brought utmost joy to our family. I also got engaged in September 2008 to Shawn and look forward to getting married to him after I am finished with school.I absolutely adore children and hope to someday teach 2-4 graders in the Wenatchee Valley. I feel that children teach adults just as much as adults teach them. I enjoy their innocence and enthusiasm for life and can't wait to start my career in education. After becoming a teacher, I would also like to coach cross country, little league, basketball, etc. because sports are a big part of my life and I would like to encourage children to stay engaged in extra curricular activities.

I grew up in Wenatchee and went to high school at Eastmont. During high school, I did the running start program through Wenatchee Valley College where I got my A.A.S..
