Introduction

Zoos are a great place for people to go see amazing animals. There are hundreds of zoos all over the word to visit. The first zoo in the world was opened in 1860 in New York city and was called Central Park Zoo. Many different animals live in the zoo in different habbitats and eat different foods. The people who take care of these animals in the zoo are called zoo keepers. It is their responsibility to make sure that the animals are safe, healthy and comfortable in their zoo habitat.

Task

Pretend like you are a zoo keeper and it is your responsibility to take care of one of the animals in the zoo.  Pick your favorite aniaml from the ones provided that live at the zoo. As the zoo keeper it is your responsibility to find out what the animals eat and exactly what kind of habitat they would need to be completely comfortable, safe and happy. From the information you find create a drawing of your animal in its habbitat and write 5 sentences explaining the animals habbitat and diet.
