Susan D. Lonborg, Ph.D.

Professor of Psychology

I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from The Ohio State University in 1984 after completing my predoctoral internship at the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Counseling Center. Following brief stints as a counselor at the University of Puget Sound and staff psychologist at Southern Illinois University, I came to CWU in the spring of 1986.  I became a licensed psychologist in Washington in 1987 and maintained a part-time private practice in Ellensburg until 1995.  In 1998 I completed requirements for initial ESA certification as a School Counselor in Washington State.  My current professional interests include: clinical and research ethics, career development, psychotherapy processes and outcomes, spirituality, and counselor supervision and training.
