Welcom To Matt Larsen's Webpage

About Me:

I am 22 years old and am in my last quarter here at CWU.  I live in an apartment with my beautiful wife Kelly.  I am a music education major and my main instrument is the drumset.  I play in the top jazz band and combo at the college and have my own trio that performs regularly around the area.  

My Classes:

This is my second year teaching the Silver String Orchestra as part of the Prep Strings Program.  I am very excited to get started this year and even though I will only be with the group for one quarter, we are going to play some great music!

Jazz Band IV: I will also be directing the 4th jazz band (also known as "Stone and the Sunday Steppers") this quarter.  This band meets once per week and is made up of 100% secondry instruments.  This quarter's music selections will include some Christmas music to install some holiday cheer!
