Admission to Law and Justice

If you are here then you are considering being a part of one of the best programs that Central Washington University has to offer. Admission into the Law and Justice department will be based upon overall grade-point average (G.P.A.). Students wishing to successfully apply for admission into the Law and Justice department must:

  • Have a G.P.A. of at least 2.25. Under extenuating circumstances, the Department Chair may admit a limited number of students with a G.P.A. under 2.25. The minimum G.P.A. of 2.25 is required for a student to graduate with a B.A. degree.

  • Receive a grade of C- or above in any LAJ course. Any grade received below a C- for an LAJ course will not count toward the LAJ degree.

  • Submit a Major/Minor Application form.

If you are interested in being a part of the department of Law and Justice and one of the many expanding and challenging fields in law and justice, print and fill out a Major/Minor Application form to Law and Justice. Once admitted to Central Washington University, submit the application to the campus where you plan to attend. The department of Law and Justice thanks you for your interest and wishes you the best in your future endeavors.
