Welcome
to CWU Law and Justice Club!
This
club is open to all CWU students that are interested in Law and Justice.
Through this club, we do a variety of activities, such as community service,
hosting events, fundraising, and doing activities pertaining to the law and
justice field. In the past we have gone to New Orleans to help with Hurricane
Katrina, hosted ‘Execution’, and visited the FBI academy. We not only do
activities directly club related, but we also do activities as a group outside
on a personal level, such as going bowling, going out to dinner or a movie etc.
If you are interested in joining, please email your contact information such as
your name, number, email to lajclub@cwu.edu
or leave your information with the secretary in the Law and Justice Department,
located on the Ellensburg campus fourth floor of the Psychology Building. You
are more than welcome to attend our meetings every Wednesday, unless stated
otherwise, from 5-6pm in the Psychology Building fourth floor ROOM 466. We hope

Upcoming Events:
Trick or Treat for
Canned Food CANCELLED
We the LAJ Club members are going door to
door to collect
canned food for our local food banks. This is
like Trick or
Treating, only we are collecting Food not
Candy. If you are
interested in participating, we are meeting
in the entrance of the
Psychology Building by the parking lots. Wear
warm clothes
and bring plastic bags/boxes to hold food.
Where: Throughout Ellensburg
When: Oct.29th, 2008
Time: 5-8 pm
Fall Food Drive
We the LAJ Club members are collecting canned
food from
everyone that stops by our table. For every 2
cans of food you’ll
receive 1 free raffle ticket. The food we
collect will be taken to
Ellensburg’s local food banks.

When: EVERY WEDNESDAY October 29 and November 5, 12, 19
Time: 9 am – 4:30 pm
$1,000 CASH RAFFEL
We the LAJ Club members are raffling off
$1,000 cash give away, to
the person who’s name is on the winning
ticket. This is a fundraiser,
where all the profits will go directly to our
Club account. Please help
support your LAJCLUB and maybe you will be
the lucky winner. We’ll
be selling from November 5 – December 5,
2008.
