• a set of definitions;
• "mini-essay" questions that are handled by no more than three or
four sentences.
Tips
You should be able to locate and identify mountain ranges and major
peaks and rivers, and know anything distinctive about them as covered in
your readings or in class. It is also assumed that you have studied
the maps in your atlas enough to recognize patterns in the physical landscape
of the region, and are able to understand some of the reasons for these
patterns.
