I personally welcome you and your son or daughter to my wonderful world of physical education. Throughout this unit I will be exposing your student to an outdoor activity in which they can find challenge and enjoyment in for the rest of their lives. My reasoning for choosing this type of activity in physical education is the simple fact that fishing is all around our wonderful world. No matter where students are in their lives they will have some type of exposure to Salmon. Many students have had the opportunity to be educated in these subjects by wonderful people like yourselves, but like every other skill in life it needs to be refreshed frequently. I also wanted to help those students who are interested in becoming involved in this activity but have not done so because of the lack of knowledge or exposure.  Please take the time during this unit to sit down and learn from your children, I believe you will be very surprised in the vast knowledge they will have gained.
