Developmental Analysis:
 
Tasks:  Refinements:
Applications:
     Loading the Weapon -  1.  Place the weapon in safety with the barrel plug firmly in place.
2.  Gently place paintballs into loader.
3.  Holding the gun upside-down, twist the loader into place.
4.  Unscrew the CO2 plug.
5.  Slide the CO2 cartridge into slot.
6.  Secure the CO2 plug.
Time Trials:  See how long it takes on average for a student to fully load a paintball weapon.
     Shooting the Weapon - 1.  Pull the barrel plug out.
2.  Turn the safety switch off.
3.  Line the target up within the sights at the tip of the barrel. 
4.  Squeeze the trigger.
Target Shooting:  See how many stationary targets the student can hit.

Block Plan
 
 
 
Day 1:  Handling of the Weapons Discuss how to hold the weapon and the various parts of the weapon.
Day 2:  Loading the Weapon and Safety Issues Discuss how to properly load the paintball weapon and how to wear the proper safety equipment.
Day 3:  Knowledge Quiz and Weapon Preperation Test  Quick quiz and prep test to ensure that the students have reached a level of safe handling.  More time may be needed.
Day 4:  Target Shooting Demonstrate proper way to aim the weapon at stationary and moving targets.
Day 5:  Weapon Shooting Test Evaluate the ability of the students against stationary and moving targets.
