Parent Safety Report

Welcome to the exciting sport of Paintball!

Paintball is a fun and growing sport in today's society, which can be a lot of fun, if played properly. Within this sport also lies a certain level of risk.  With the proper instruction, and testing, your student will be able to participate in this activity with little chance of harm.  This activity requires students to handle a paintball weapon, to learn it's components, and to partake in large group paintball tournaments.
Once the students have passed a proficiency test, they will have the option to participate in full-blown, paintball warfare games.  If you choose to have your student participate, please be aware that paintballs sometimes cause small bruises, and might sting.  Students will be required to wear proper safety gear, such as the gear pictured above, and will play in a controlled environment under close supervision.  We ask the students to wear blue jeans, and long-sleeved shirts, and expect these articles to get dirty.
Your student will be receiving progress reports throughout the unit as to evaluate their progress.  If students cannot show an average amount of competency, via tests and quizzes, they will have to sit out during the warfare tournament.
You can examine the Lesson Plan and Course Outline on this page, and feel free to contact me, via e-mail, with any questions.
