  • Toss ball with right hand and catch with right hand.
  • Toss ball with right hand and catch with left hand.
  • Toss ball with left hand and catch with left hand.

  • Toss ball with either hand, do a half turn and catch with one or two hands.
  • Toss ball, move two steps right or left, catch ball after one bounce or in the air.
Diagnostic Assessment: Once balls are distributed, allow students time to experiement with handling the Team Hand"ball" (within their own space), and take assessment of students' familiarity with ballhandling and level of ballhandling ability.

Formative Assessment:
Are students getting to the most difficult of each task's variations, or are they spending alot of time on the original task presented?

Summative Assessment:
Can students successfully put together their own pattern of the tasks presented? Can they come up with their own variations of them?
