What you will be graded on:

    · Participation ñ Every day each student is expected to participate in all activities played.  This includes trying the activities.  Being in the game and talking to friends does not count as participation.  You must be active in order to get your 5 points for the day.  If you are injured and must sit out from an activity you must have a note from a doctor not a parent or guardian.

    · Attendance ñ You will be graded on whether you come to class or not.  If you must miss class because of a school function, appointment, or family emergency you must bring me a note in order to be excused.

    · Tests ñ You will be given a test on every activity covered in class.  The test will be on the rules of the game.  A study guide will be given to you at least two days before the test.  Also rules will be gone over in class.

· Assessments ñ I will be assessing all the students on the skills they learn.  I will give extra points to those who are doing the skills as they were taught.  This will only occur once in a while so make sure you learn the proper form to every skill.  I will help you get to this point.  Also I will never tell when I am going to assess until that day.

    · Dressing Down ñ Everyday you are required to dress down.  There are no exceptions to this.  You will be marked down if you show up in class with school clothes on.  Clothing that would be appropriate:  Shorts, warm-up pants, shirt, sweat shirt, sporting clothes, etc.
o Reminder ñ No spandex, tank tops, gum, hats are allowed

    · Task Cards ñ These are worksheets that will be given in class once in awhile.  Each student is to fill out the worksheets in class and turn in what they have finished by the end of the class period.  Depending on the task card will determine whether the worksheet should be finished or not.  The worksheet will be graded on participation.  There are no right or wrong answers on the worksheet but you must finish the tasks that are on the sheet.
