Course Outline
Class Overview and introduction:

This class and until is to help students learn the game of bacce.  It is a game that originally came from Italy and many Italians played.  It was often played by armies during the waiting time in a war.  They would use small pebbles and would toss them towards a bigger pebble to see who could get the closest.  It was also often played in the streets and alleyways by children and adults alike.

Students will learn the rules and courtesies of the game of bocce.  This unit will help students to learn a new game that can be played in their backyard with anyone.  It is not an activity that would exclude many people.

Grading:

A =  90-100%
B =  80-89%
C =  70-79%
D =  60-69%
F =  59 and below
