Coaches' Standards

The WIAA requires individuals who coach in WA public schools to receive instruction in subjects contained in five standards categories. All beginning coaches must have certain specified basic qualifications pertaining to safety. Individuals with a Physical Education major or minor or Coaching major or minor are considered to have met the WIAA Coaching Standards.
