Campus Computing OrientationDelivery
Method: Hands-on training Length: 30 minutes. Experience Level: For those with little
or no experience Description: Designed for new hires as well as students, covers the basics of the CWU network: what is your full context login; what are the network drives; where you can store stuff; how are the network drives backed up, what programs are available on both the network and local drives, etc. Also, a brief overview of GroupWise, as well as the computing resources on campus, e.g. Help Desk, Multimedia Technology and Instructional Support, and the Web office. Available for both PC and Mac users. Space is limited, call ahead for your appointment or click on the Register link on the left and specify a convenient time slot. Prerequisites: None. Course book: Free handout will be provided. If you are interested in this class but don't see it on the class schedule, please fill out the registration form and indicate you'd like to be on the wait list in the memo field (question number 4) at the bottom of the form.
