Rules On GWWebTo access GroupWise on the Web, you must have an active Wildcat account. The password for this account must be set initially on the network (on a campus computer). It can be changed on the Web, but it cannot be set initially there. If you do not know your Wildcat password and you are a staff member, you can call the Help Desk at 963-2001 to request a new one. Students can go to http://www.cwu.edu/mypassword to change theirs. After logging on to gwweb you can apply several predefined rules on your account. Some of the more popular rules are listed below. Vacation RuleTo create a rule so GroupWise will respond to your mail while you are out,
Back in the window that lists the rules for your account,
Filtering MailTo create a rule that will filter incoming e-mail to a folder other than your Mailbox (i.e. Special Projects),
Special note: If you are just looking to delete mail such as those marked with SPAM, there are instructions on this web page http://www.cwu.edu/~itstraining/TechTips/SpamRuleForWeb.html Forward RuleTo create a rule so GroupWise will forward your mail to another account,
Note that if you don't put in any “conditions”, the rule will act on all items.
