Financial Aid/Scholarships

In order to be admitted to CWU, international students must provide adequate proof of financial resources. However, because international students do not qualify for federal or state aid, CWU offers opportunities to make attendance more affordable.

International Undergraduate Students (summer or fall entry only)

Transfers

The Undergraduate Admissions office offers a scholarship of $2,400 for up to two years for incoming, international transfer students. This scholarship is only available to students who transfer to CWU in the summer or fall.

Who can apply:
All international transfer students who have:
- at least 90 transferable credits (60 semester credits) from a US community college or university by the start of fall quarter
- an incoming cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Transfer students who have less than 90 credits may still apply but will have a lower priority.

Number of awards
There are 25 scholarships available for fall quarter. They will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
