The Safety and Health Management curriculum includes 20 courses covering a broad scope of issues that practicing safety professionals encounter. Course descriptions may be viewed in the online catalog using the links on the Programs of Study page. These courses were restructured and renumbered for the fall 2007 quarter. Students whose degree requirements and progress that fall under catalog years prior to 2007-08 may find the Course Equivalency Guide (pdf) useful to identify which new courses fulfill the existing degree progress requirements. Students will have the opportunity to select the courses that develop knowledge and skills within contexts most appropriate to their career aspirations. This will be managed through a Plan of Study coordinated with each student's advisor. Advising and the Plan of Study form are available through the Advising page. All courses are available annually at the Ellensburg campus. Not all courses are available at the Lynnwood and Des Moines centers. Although conditions and demand may dictate final availability of course offerings, the following links are to the intended two year course offerings (pdf). Limited courses may be available at any location for summer quarter depending upon identified need. |
