Assessment : Safety and Health Management

We have three strategies for the assessment and continuous improvement of the SHM programs.

The first strategy is to maintain goals necessary to assure that the programs continue to meet the goals of industry, the department, college, and university. The program goals may be viewed in the SHM Program Goals document.

The second strategy is to maintain student learning outcomes with specific measurable criteria which provide progressive and ongoing feedback to each student. The student learning outcomes may be viewed in the SHM Student Learning Outcomes document.

The third strategy is to maintain an industry advisory board. Information regarding the functions and role of the industry advisory board may be viewed in the SHM Industry Advisory Board Charter (coming soon).
