Advisor: Scott Calahan, Professor (509) 963-3218

Welcome to the Traffic Safety Program at Central Washington University! This program is designed for students desiring to teach traffic safety to novice drivers. We provide our students with the most up-to-date information available and ample hands- on experience with local high school students.

There are typically two tracks of students entering the program. One is students enrolled in the teacher training program at CWU or Washington state certified teachers wanting to add the TSE endorsement to their certificates. The other track is persons with no teaching background wanting to obtain a conditional certificate to teach in a commercial school.

All students are accepted in the program on the following conditions:
  1. Possess a valid Washington drivers license
