- Overtime is paid at the rate of time-and-a-half regular pay for overtime
eligible employees.
- At the employee's request and supervisor's concurrence, comp time
may be granted in lieu of monetary payment.
- Compensation may be approved in time only if the employee's annual
leave and compensatory time combined will not exceed
240 hours; otherwise, extra hours worked must be paid in money.
- Unused comp time should be scheduled by the department or cashed out
sixty days prior to the end of the biennium.
- Upon termination of employment, the employee will be paid for any
unused comp time.
- When an employee moves to another department due to a job change,
all comp time must be cashed out and charged against the budget of the
department that is losing the employee.
- Accumulated comp time must be used before vacation leave.
