Employee of the Month for October 2005

Chris is always looking for ways to do her job quicker or more efficiently. She is willing to lend a hand to the other custodians in the building if they have a large project to be completed. Her floor is always in good shape, even when there has been a big event in the building or when the roof has leaked from rain or snow. Seldom does anything look out of place and this makes a good impression on students, parents, administrators and campus visitors. When there was a serious problem with "shadowing" on the whiteboards in the classrooms, she was determined to find a solution. She was constantly trying new ways to clean the boards and touched base with users almost daily to see if she and the other custodians were making progress. Chris is on the Facilities Management Safety Committee and giving feedback to the crews. Chris takes care of those little details that make the difference to the customer. She is pure sunshine every day.
