Connie Bliss

Employee of the Month for October 2004

Connie Bliss,
Admissions Data Control Technician Lead.

Connie completes more work than anyone I have ever met or supervised in the 20 years that I have been on campus - she completes the work of two people. The quality of work is outstanding. She continues to absorb an increased workload.

Her philosophy is "earn your paycheck." Connie works hard to provide accurate information to prospective students and a positive image of the Admissions Office and the University. She works hard at being efficient and getting the most up-to-date information to students as quickly as possible.

Connie is responsive to requests made by departments on campus. Connie assisted in the implementation of PeopleSoft. Connie is a pleasure to supervise and work with. She strives to get along with everyone, gets along well with her student aides and invites them over for taco dinners.

She is a team player and will help in anyway she can. She does her work and leaves her personal life/issues at home. She plans to retire in the next couple of years and we wonder how all of the work will get done without her.
