Zilpha Nickerson, Library Supervisor II

Zippy is meticulous in her work as Supervision and Head of Circulation. She maintains a very high level of rapport with her staff through kindness and attention to detail. Zippy is a dedicated employee who takes pride in her work. She always does more than her share of the work. She often takes the initiative to get things started and picks up the slack when things are going slowly. She continues to upgrade her skills and knowledge. Her information is always thorough and comprehensive, and her facts are always accurate.

Zippy is extremely conscientious and works very diligently and professionally to make sure that all units are informed to policies and procedures that affect our students. She is fair-minded and listens well. Zippy positively impacts everyone that comes in contact with her by just being herself: a talented, knowledgeable, supportive, conscientious, thoughtful, professional, hard working employee. Zippy sets a positive example for us all to follow. Zippy has worked for Central Washington University for more than 25 years. She is responsible for immeasurable contributions to the Library. She is the type of employee that anyone would be happy to work with.
